What are the advantages to an FCR carb?
Would it allow my quad to rev out faster?

I think so, the FCR has a very short "throw" on the throttle plate and, to me at least, my quad feels quicker with the FCR.

The shape of the "flat slide" allows for smoother flow and a quicker throttle response over a round slide carb. That's one advangtage.

It adds a few horsepower and increases throttle response.

I have one on my 400 and its like day and night. it pulls harder all the way through the powerband. then you stick a quickshot and a set of powernow's on it and it will be like a whole new bike. You have to build an intake for it though.
Do the powernows really work? I have been debating on whether or not to get them for mine.
I wouldn't waste your money.
