Stripped out bolt question

I am installling a HotCam in my 400ex and one of the head cover bolt holes has no threads anymore...they all came out on the bolt. The bolt is fine. What would be the best way to repair this? I am thinking a helicoil, but I have never used one. Are they pretty easy to install? Is there a better (easier) choice?

yea a helicoil is your best bet.. and no there very simple to use

I did some research on them tonight and it looks easy. I have always had a fear of tapping, etc, into aluminum, but I gotta learn someday.
