Anyone have any details? Was this atv related? My prayers are definitely going out to this family! So tragic.

This was close to me. Very tragic. He was killed on a 1985 3 wheeler. my guess is a 250 r. here is a link to my paper.

I am sure he was referring to the irony of how close it was to me. I talk with 400exrider707 all the time. Let it go.

RIP little guy.

Everything about it, the fact it was close to him and the fact that he was a very good quad racer with a lot of talent, and got injured play riding on a trike... just seems crazy, and ironic seemed like the only good word at the time... Tim are you familiar with any of the family? I wish I lived closer I would love to go to the viewing hours. Poor little guy.:ermm:

I do not know the people. However, when I lived in Tipp City I would read the local paper and see some articles about him. Such a sad day, from what I have read this kid had some great talent. Take that link and go the the homepage of Dayton daily news dot com and it shows some pics of him, his fam, and some of his quad and trophys. Rip little man.

On a side note. We also had a 19 year old, I think, pass last week from a neighboring county. Atv and ALCOHOL related. Hate to see it happen.

The thing that irritates me the most about this, is the media is just going to feed off of it. Maybe not so much the little guy on the three wheeler, but the 19 year old with the alcohol... now we're all guilty by association in the eyes of the uneducated...

Tim are you going to the viewing? I'm going to check out the link now...

^^^ I don't know, with my best friend passing awhile ago, viewings/funerals aren't on my short list to do. I am compelled to send a donation or something to the Fam. I am just kinda waiting on an info on it. I will read up and get back to you. IT would be cool if they were to organize a charity race/ride or something. I would def. be down for something of that nature.

Yeah I hear ya, they are never a fun thing to attend. I almost didn't go to my own buddies, but I'm glad I did. If I was closer I would definitely go, its so sad to see someone so young with so much talent pass.

Here's the link to the local article, I hope its cool with everyone that I post the link!?

was a good funeral today that they had, burried him in his racing outfit. Was a sad time but they expressed that this is what he loved to do. Austin was well on his way to make a name for himself. As they said godspeed #95
