2001 400ex, lots of aftermarket $1400

Selling one of my quads to fix my other 2 lol. (also selling a dirtbike listed on this site also) 2001 Honda 400ex-- 426 piston kit, stage 2 hotcam, Bills pipe, +4 axle, works shocks, nerf bars, probably some stuff im forgetting.

Bike doesnt run right currently needs carb work, i tried a few different main jets and cleaned the carb made it better but i dont have the time money or patience to get it tuned right.Seems to idle good but It pops and backfires when you give it gas and i have no experience w/ carb tuning so its just been sitting w/ the other 2 quads waiting to get fixed.

Everything else is in good shape tires are still good, bearings and bushings all feel tight. Only other thing it needs is a rear brake caliper. Red plastics

Asking $1400 as is Should be an easy cheap fix for someone that knows what theyre doing i just dont have the time and have other projects (that i still owe on lol) to get back together.

has the quad ever run right, is it possibly the motor....maybe cam timing issues?

at first i thought it was timing issues but asked a few ppl for their input and did some research almost positive its in the carb since the main was only 148 w/ no lid, the stage 2 cam, pipe, 426 etc. i tried high 150's and mid 160's still isnt right. I honestly dont have the patience to mess w/ the carb lol tried for a few days here and there w/ little progress like i said i have no experience w/ carbs at all i can rebuild the topends done a few cranks but always had other ppl do my carbs. They seem to intimidate me haha

Cam chain seems tight the guy i bought it off of switched carbs before i bought it cant get ahold of him now since i waited so long to mess w/ it from the time i bought it, to see what size jetting he ran.
