Was that at Unadilla ?? When I went a few years ago , they had something similar. The guy had jumped the Gravity Cavity and then that jump on the far side of the track ( sky jump ???) that would launch 140-something feet.

Sleds are a ton of fun... in fact I enjoy them more than ATVs :confused: ... so much more can be done on them ... plus there's 2 or 3 times the amount of HP. No better thrill than having 150+ HP under you and hauling *** down the lake at 130 MPH or carving the trails like you're on rails. Plus there's the jumping . LOL

I used to have a picture of my riding my dad's old 1989 Ski-Doo MX 467 when I was maybe 10 years old . My dad snapped a shot of me jumping a beaver dam ..... I must have been 20 feet in the air ... hard landing on the old beast. :p

Thats my buddy Kenny Murphy on the sled... yes its an 08, he usually gets 5 new ones every year... FOR FREE! Lucky bum. That was him a few years ago that launched out of gravity cavity too. I still haven't got to ride any of his ski-doos, but I did ride his polaris IQ's when he was riding for polaris. He had the Polaris semi back then too! He's a good guy, if you see him tell him you know Mike from the DKM team. ;)

That looks like an 08. Personally , I like the new look ..... looks more agressive . :devil:

The new REV-XP chassis looks amazing . The lightened the machines up by 50 lbs yet gained 37% more strength. INSANE !!!!!

It looks like a fake. Even if the sled hit a crazy huge jump that would be beyond/behind the tree he is still way too high up in the air. It looks like a fake. Where are ther pics of this jump??? notice there isnt very many people around either...something like that would attrack a crowd!! and why would a snowmoblie be at a MX track in the middle of summer anyways??? And where is this track at?? I wouldnt call it a fake if there were a video of it or dozens of pictures. I dont care if its pappys son or the president, if it looks like a fake ill say it looks like a fake

It's at Unadilla MX . The reason for the sled exhibition is because Bombardier is the main sponsor for the event every year. They like to show off the new models and show what they can do. It can jump like this in the dirt ... imagine in the snow .

:rolleyes: How is he way too high in the air? The landing is over 100' long itself. You can jump over 150' if you want. Its a hill landing and just keeps going. The crowd is over behind those trees, the only area you can even see is in the infields in the picture and track personnel are only allowed over there.

Its meant for the snow, you can ride it anywhere you want... ever seen watercross? They race ovals on open lakes. They often do grass drags as well. Its not really meant for the dirt and its hard on the machine, but its not really an issue for them. They often practice during the summer by putting woodchips down on mx tracks and riding on those.

all those links and pics that 400ex rider are real. But the one pappy posted still does look like a fake. Like i said it would be more believeable if there were more pics from pappys kid. I have seen sleds ride on dirt and jump, i have even done it myself :D But not nearly as big as those :devil:

Yes he does look very high in the picture, but I think the perspective just makes it look like that. Check out the quad pics that pappy posted too, the quads look ridiculously high.

I was there and watched they guy jump the skyshot multiple times. Its as real as can be, and I think he ended up going around 185.

its really not that hard .. i hit its 3rd practice for my first time its a nice landing 4th tapped let off at tip u just fly... he never did make 200 ft on the sled it was impossible he wud have landed in the ditch and messed himself up but he did go far thats for sure lol... pappy wth.. i thaught u got some snaps of me hitting that bad boy .. im disappointed in u lol

i beleive it now with the video but just off that 1 pic pappy posted it did look fake because of the angles and everything. I wouldnt say thats the hardest jump around tho. Larrocos leaps at red bud is pretty sick...not even all the 450 pro bikes do it

that was a great jump , and all i can say is some of us are much better on a sled then we would ever be on a quad, thats why we ride them in summer, on dirt, water, and even beaches by the ocean. KUDOS for the big air

I was there when he broke the tunnel on his polaris IQ practice sled, and he was hitting small jumps that day.

thats insane. its amazing the technology advancment in the sport. ten years ago i wouldnt even think about jumping a sled like that. thats F ers weighed a ton and suspension was just so so.
