I didn't know if the engine has a special coating on it or something that the never-dull would take off.

i use that exact same stuff for my frame. i highly doubt it'll do anything for your motor. buy some good, quality engine degreaser and use that. it'll have a greater effect.

heres a pic of my frame...

Never Dull is fine to use. Be careful with any type of engine cleaner/degreaser. We went riding one day, stopped to wash them at a friend's house. He swore by this "Castrol SuperClean" stuff. I had never used it before. Won't use again. It left some pretty bad streaks on my side covers that won't come out.

I love Superclean, BUT........you can't leave it on too long (especially when you don't dilute it) because it DOES take paint off. If you let it dry on to something it will basically strip the paint right off of the part. It will clean just about anything, though.

There is PC on your engine cases unless you stripped it off...
