So what did you end up doing with your 06 500. Who makes that 13 tooth front sprocket after market? I want to change mines as well.

I just bought one off ebay tonight... I had one in the cart on RMATV and went back the next day to buy it and it had gone out of stock! Anyway, I hope it gets here soon!

OK what did you go with front/rear what specifications? Cause I really want to change both out due to the whole safety recall in rear bolts.

I went with a 13 tooth front and I'm keeping the back stock for now. I'm going to see how well that works for me before I decide to change the back. I haven't done the recall yet but it doesn't worry me so much. I check the bolts often enough and I figure someday I'll get the recall done.

From PurePolaris the part # for the front 13 tooth is 3222149 but like I said, I got mine on Ebay because PurePolaris and RMATV are all sold out. Stock gearing for the Outlaw 500 is 14-38 I believe. You can also check sprocketspecialists.com, i think they have them as well.

There's no difference. They are the same (500 outlaw of course)

xr650 sprockets will fit the predators....the rear should be 38 on the outlaws

I just changed to a 13 front and my chain is tightened to it's max. how do u remove a link. The 500 outlaw has a master link not sure if others do.It says u need some tool to remove a link but was wondering if there is another way.

Grind it off and remove it.

you can add a few washers behind the bolt that tightens the chain to take up a little slack

or you can buy a half link
