my brother has a 2000 440ex with stage 2 cam, and i have a 2004 440ex with stage 3 cam.

when loading them in the truck, his is quite noticeably lighter, and pulls the front wheels up much easier. only other difference is i have PA nerfs on mine. not sure how much they weigh. any insight? thanks

Not knowing for sure but why it might be pulling up when you put in in your truck could be the cams, stage 2 has more mid to top end power and stage three is all top end, The stage two could be in the power band while yours isn't. IMO.

.190 are very tough and very heavy

thats exactly what it is. the stock tires are extremely lite. i mean u have 6 ply compared to 4. plus ur rims are probably more

Aren't stock rims also .190? with rolled edges, so they're heavier than after market .190's without a rolled edge (What i assume you're talking about). It's probably just the tires. But like you said, you also have nerf bars and his doesnt.
