I was wondering where the cheapest and best place to buy a hotcam stage 2 cam would be. Plus wheres a good place to a heavy duty timing chain and piston kit like JE or wiesco. Thanks.

I went with a JE piston for the 400, and the 300 has a Wiseco. I really like the look and finish of the JE compared to the Wiseco.

FYI, Dirt Wheels did a write up on a 440 in Decembers issue saying how Wiseco has made some changes to their pistons... Something about adding a coating called PC-9 that is supposed to help add piston life and reduce heat due to less friction.

Note: Dirt Wheels also installed a Hot Cams cam... They said they recommend the Stage 1 for stock and slightly modified motors, and Stage 2 for big bores and full mod motors.

C&D Racing: 308-696-7805... And Colby is cool to talk with too!:)

Globa moto outlet has the Hotcams stage 2 for 119.95!!! Plus shippin it still cheeper than anywhere else i ve seen it. About the piston im note sure about JE. But Magic Racing has a Wiseco standard size, 416, 425/426, 440 for 89.99 with rings piston pin and rings. and their gasket kit for the install is 24.95 all pretty cheep stuff. Just ask me how i know this!!! :D I just put all this stiff in my 400 today!! break in time tommorrow!!
