The Quad-Tech looks huge. Im probably the one but I actually like the way it looks stock (without the light of course).

To me those hoods just dont seem like they belong there. So far I've liked the way they look on 400ex's, 450r's, YFZ's, even the canondales I liked. They just dont do it for me. But that's just me cause every one else seems to be running them.

TWISTED DINLI-> Those 2 LTR's you posted are sick!!:eek2:
I love the colours of them both. I've always like Orange quads!

That quadtech looks like a beak on a bird

Yeah, that is why it's called "the Beak"

I like the quad-techs actual beak...the one that just mounts under...all the other ones look weird to me...and the only reason I would have a beak is for protection. right now I just have a nicely cut piece of blue plexi-glass mounted to the frame where the headlight was...you can't really tell the difference w/ or without it

yea i know i would get the beak but devonf450r could you post a pic of yours with the plexiglass, and ingleful how do you like those ac nerfs a buddy of mine had them on his trx and he races and they went to crap on him so for his ltr he got some rath pro pegs with the heelguard and those were nice and mounted good plus the pegs were really sharp and had spikes going all of the way up the peg unlike the ac's

in my opinion ac's suck...mine have broke off twice...the mounts are broken and the fender brackets sucked..hade to make own.....im pretty sure they'll break off again...need new ones

I got the Pro Aluminum nerfs like Gust and Wimmer use...they are awesome so far. but as for the plexi-glass thing it is just a flat piece that is mounted to the frame by the two bolts that held on the rear of the headlight...it just keeps roost from my electronics

i bolted on a lil plastic peice behind my beak just for a lil more protection.

yea thats cool but i thought that gust and wimmer still use the ac mx nerfs that just came out to the public, thats a good idea with the plastic and plexiglass by the way

nope they have been on the pro-aluminum nerfs for most of the season...on the ac's at first. they are as big if not bigger than the ac's but they have netted heel guards like the Raths. good luck finding a set though:D not sure if they are available to the public yet

i just put the lights on last week and have not had a chance to ride with em yet, but i turned em on in my garage when it was dark, and they are very bright. also, the quality seems great and they install very easy, they are the mr16 halogens, they are $125 plus shipping from trail tech

Personally, I like mine w/o the headlight .
