I got really sick in 2005, almost a day to today to be exact. its been two years of getting my balance back but its 100 times better. when i first got out of the hospital and tried riding a few weeks later i felt like i was in a tunnel...lol i couldnt even drive teh speed limit in a truck:p ill never be able to ride like i want to or used to, but atleast now i CAN ride without to much fear.

It started out with flu like stuff and a fever, after 3 or 4 days of that I went to the hospital, where for the next week I ran fevers of up to 106. My liver and kidneys shut down and they pretty much told the family I was dying. The wife and my brother yanked me out of there on my birthday (July 29th) and took me to a better hospital. After 36 hours of being surrounded by ice the doc figured it out and started me on medicene. I was there for a few more weeks or so I think and been getting better ever since...I think:p

We traced it back to some young Turkey poults I was raising as to how I came in contact with it, but I did find out that over 80% of the people in the Ohio river valley region test positive for it but that it never really affects them. I was pretty run down from work and stress from my dad passing away so I was wide open to catch it.
