I'm bettin the thing broke down,,so the guy hitched a ride with somebody back to the trailhead to get straps, parts, or whatever and some punks came by,,seen it sitten there with no key,,and decided to catch it on fire and ride off..

Hinson cover's are trick... Not too costly either to me anywyas, those brake pedl's I'd have one if my caliper owkred right haha, most of this season I used my front brakes so all I needed was a plain old brake lever on my handlebars

Yeah i like them,,,,,,,,the one for my 310R was a little over 500 cause i did not send hinson a core. I got it directly from them along with the 8 plate system so the total for the clutch stuff from hinson was a tad over 1200.00. And they said to use the oem plates and such........

Thanx ..they are powder coated ..not sure if I would do it again ..tho.. took alot of effort &leg work if ya ever do it make damn sure all oil is gone before having powder coated ..
was done primarily for the 310..since entire bottom end was rebuilt ..
A freind of mine helped with assembly..we had to be real careful while building & installin ..not too scratch em or anything
he said reminded him of the honda's from years ago..
was hard to decide which color ..
