man i just started mx this year and i was asking the same question and everyone was saying to drop down a tooth. so thats what i did and it's a good thing i did cuz it made all the difference. it gives you better power coming off the holeshot, more power in the corners and you dont always have to shift before going into a corner. if i were you man i would defiantly drop down a tooth.

drop down a tooth. ull lose some top speed but how often are u goin 63 on an mx track? ull get way more speed out of the corners.
