What size front sprocket should I use if I have 22in mud tires on the back? I know that 15 tooth is stock so should I go to a 13 or maybe a 12? I don't won't to lose any bottom end power and the top end is not a concern. Thanks in advance.

That depends on what year your ex is. The early models have 15T's, but the new ones have 14T's. Regardless, I don't think I'd drop down more than one tooth to start.

I'd stay with 1 tooth less. I did a 2 teeth less and all it seemed to to is move everything up a gear.

It is a 2000. So you are saying I should go with a 14?

With 22 inch tires, you could be fine with a 13 tooth, but definately wouldn't go less than that. A 14 tooth with 22s is going to feel about stock with 20s.
