im gonna be getting a hybrid most likely after i move down to South Carolina and ill be riding mostly trails and i might venture to a track once or twice...but i was wondering would a yz426 be good for trail riding?
and what kind of power does it produce?and how would it compare to like450rs,ltrs,yfzs?never rode a hybrid before but they look like they haul...

For trail riding I would add a fly wheel wieght.
I used the 10 oz ones.
Also a decomp exhaust cam for an easier start.

And if its a wet sump system,keep the oil fresh!!

Well from what i have been reading, The YZ400 puts out around 44HP and the YZ426 puts out about 46HP. Asking different people will get you different numbers, This is just what i have been reading, and a stock YZF450 is putting out around 38. Keep in mind you will be losing power from the YZ400 or YZ426 motor putting it in the 4 wheeler chassis... We will just say 3-5HP...any one els have any input?

And thats all from a STOCK engine!!!
I thought it was around the 47-48 mark
Look at what all has to be done to the Honda 450r engine to produce 50 HP......
The 400ex eng vs yz eng I believe is also 20lbs lighter!
