OK I've had a panasonic stereo player that since it was new would skip really really badly when i put a CD in it even a brand new CD no matter which CD I used it would skip and I could never figure out why it did this, and by now the warantee has most likely expired and I highly doubt I have a receipt since I've had it for like 3 years I want to see if any of you may know the problem with it, I've barely used it. It seems to skip most whenever I move it or flick the stereo.

get the compressed air bottles that they use on keyboards, to blow them out, blow it out, and keep doing it for a few days, my jvc did it when i first go it, and since i did that , it works awesome, if not, bring it somewhere or pick up a cheap one...

the lense is dirty from what it sounds like, what troyleepred719 said is a good way to take care of that
