E-series are fine. Don't know what they're talking about. However, I still like the HMF slip on better. The pro circuit T-4 isn't a bad choice either. As far as a full system, my buddy has a full LRD and he loves it.

E-Series Isn't a bad pipe. I ran one before I put on my HMF and it was a good pipe. Decent power, and worked really well in trails.

What isnt wrong with them. they add hardly any power and they sound terrible. its a waste of money and time putting it on

white brothers has its goods and bads, there power gains are decent,
i dont like the way they sound at all, there made cheaply... the number of them that break around welds is unreal,
thats my 2 cents
and another problem is you guys get your facts from dirt wheels :eek2: :huh

shootouts really dont matter to me because those magazines are sponsered by certain companies. my bro had an e series and i had the hmf and i smoked him. the e series is an all around waste.

How much is the e-series compared to the HMF? Slip on to slip on...

i paid 200 for the hmf and i just looked up the e series on dennis kirk and it was 350

my welds broke around where the pipe meets the silencer , but it isnt harming anything, no leaks or anything. I think it sounds great and I didn't pay much for it at all. I will say, that my next exhaust wont be a e series but for now i am very happy. Next is Full System

Is t-4 circuit actually a pretty good exhaust? I really want hmf but there not supplied to the dealerships in my region.
What about Big-Gun? My bro put that on his 100xr, and you know 100xr 4 stroke, I thought it would be a bit of difference. I thought wrong, it sounds awesome I dont like those really loud YIP YIP YIP exhausts his is more of a deep tone, and you can still hear it in the distance. The power is a bit better but not overally.

Well which kind I go with?
HMF Sport/Utility Series
Iron Man Pro Series
Ballance Pro Series
Penland Pro Series
QRS Series
Eco-System Series
Swamp Series
Im lost when it comes to these series.
I like to go trail riding, rip on some gravel rodes, ride tho muskeg, and a little bit of duning.
Any advice is appreciated.

your best bet would be the sport series.. its the cheapest
or if noise is a problem get the QRS
the balance and penland are basically identical to the sport series,
except the ballance comes with the torque range modifier,

there are so many of these threads hmf is definatley the best i had the same stage and i bought an hmf and its way cheaper like 100$ and all the magazines have it and its got the most power of all the popular slip ons
400exrapes
07-27-2007, 02:50 PM
and get the sport series you can get a good color and it will look good also they make different end caps for it

i have the sport series and i couldnt be happier with it. it adds a lot more bottom end and has a great sound. its one of the cheaper slipons to

Is the complete worth the extra $$?
Seems that way with everyone havin a slip-on.
xc_racer1
07-27-2007, 03:20 PM
ull only get about 2 or 3 more hp out of it but its gonna sound a lot deaper
choco
07-27-2007, 04:12 PM
It sounds a lot deeper with the complete set? instead of slip-on.
xc_racer1
07-27-2007, 04:14 PM
ya becaus its letting a lot more air through. itll make it sound a lot better. i have the slip on and its kinda raspy

Do you think that the extra $$$ for carbon fiber worth the weight loss? Carbon Fiber as an exhaust seems risky, but thats some technology.
If you could go back would you buy slip-on or complete for the extra $$?
xc_racer1
07-27-2007, 04:25 PM
dont waste the money for the carbon. u wont even lose a pound. id get the full system but if u dont have the money the slip ons deff. worth it
choco
07-27-2007, 04:31 PM
Why do guys spend tons of money on other parts of there quad, than only buy a slip-on? Well ill probaley go witht eh complete, I wonder if they accept paypal. Or if someone would buy one with credit card and buy it off them with paypal. Ill have to look more into it.
