How would this front end perform? It is a Roll Design Lobo 2/ Elka Elite setup. I will be racing mx with it and the full package is $2700. Is that a good price? I will most likely get the shocks revalved after i get some more cash after i get the front end. Are there any problems with the a arms? thanks for any help you can give

$2700 sounds like a rip off price IMO

IMO that is the best or one of the better front ends on the market. Both Elka and Roll are very good companies and have worked together to give you a package like that to perform the best. With the price you pay for what you get. You do not go buy a 500 dollar front end and expect it to be top notch. You could get the front end revalved if you arent satisfied.

For the money I would definitely spend my hard earned greebacks somewhere else. Roll makes great GREAT stuff, but are too overpriced IMO. If you have the money I would get those arms though. As far as shocks I think there is better ways to spend your money, but both are still quality pieces.

yea but think about dude...........if you buy walsh, theres $1350 just for the a-arms........then you got to buy a good set of shocks, so about $1395 for Axis shocks............. so theres $2745 so if you think about it, it aint THAT bad. :ermm:

I would chose axis or fox over elka ANY DAY.. Most of the elka stories I've heard are bad. But are not junk shocks, just poorly tuned :ermm:

you can do a smc motowoz combo for around 1900 and the smc arms have a lifetime warranty, and the shocks are much better. Here is a pic of my front end.

roll gibson and walsh all make great products but only if you have the money because you have to rebuild the heim joints every season which costs 400-500 i think your better off with a normal ball joint front end like laeger, jb, smc ect.. and putting the leftover money into better shocks than elkas
someones sellin the same set up on the parts section

allstock : I get new balljoints once a year and it cost 80$ from walsh, its cheaper than regular balljoints like LSR etc..
IMO almost any brand of a-arms are good , but you need good shocks and elka is not what i would call good. Im a Fox or PEP guy.
