going from trailbike to mx.
first i garbaged my razr2's and picked up some mx's
since it was blown up i ordered high comp piston
kill switch from pro design
hot cam stage 2
hd valves
um polished alloy scoops (looks awsome)
i doing new gaskets for everything.
lonestar +2 a arms
lonestar +2 axel
renthal handlebars
getting a foam flter and garbaging my k&n
and i will probably garbage my fmf and finish it with sparks racing exhaust.

anything else u can think of that will make it run solid but more hp???

your tellin me. i am 14 paying for everything out of my pocket. plus when im 16 i get a truck but i got to pay everything else so i have to save money. i think i will get a pair of 450r shocks and be happy with them. i want front elkas so bad tho =(. if i could find some elkas with compression and rebound adjustments for around 500 i owuld buy em.

Works triples will do you good. infinitely better than stock at least.


some works doublerates properly valved would be rather good for you too. if youre going to do it, i recommend taking the time to be sure to do it right, even if it takes longer and you have to save more

Kinda sounds like your doing the same thing as me. But my MX project mine take longer than yours. I know excatly what I want. Those Fox Floats look awesome, but 450R front shocks rebounded & revavled would do you just fine. Unless money isn't a problem.

i have heard that they are good and are vary smooth.

the works tripples are pretty good i have them and i got them used for $220 also yfz 450 shocks will work on the ex but the top mounts just have to be shave alittle bit on the shocks i did it before and never used them but shaveing them was not hard at all i just used a hack saw
