Hey, does anyone know the length of +3 tierods? Because I havent' been able to get my Burgards +3 a-arms mounted up right, and I'm thinking maybe they sent me shorter tierods then they were supposed to. The measure 15 1/4", but I don't have any stock tierods to compare them to. So if anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it!:)

Wow, it's been like 2 months and you still haven't gotten them figured out? I'd be so mad if I were you.

lol It hasn't been my top priority, so I've been slacking:p I just don't understand it, because I had +2+1 Denton a-arms on before these and didn't have a problem installing them. But of course I have to sell them before I even put my new ones on:rolleyes:

I've posted some of these pics before.. but I'll try to get some better ones later because I have them off right now. But here yeah go...

This picture you can kinda tell how the front of the tires are pointing out wards, but the bars are straight:confused: Do you notice anything hooked up wrong?

And it has nothing to do with my shocks, because I tried both. This is the front again with the bars straight, but yet the tires are still angled and you can see that I have alot of treads showing on the tierods too.

Here's a good view with the bars straight again. The front of the a-arms is also about 1/4"-3/8" from the shock. Is that normal? I just don't remember it being that close on my other a-arms. I've also tried switching sides with the a-arms and it only made them closer to the shock. I also tried switching the bottom a-arms around and the shock bracket was way to far back to reach, so I know those are on right.

And just another...

So the only thing I can think of is my tierods are to short. Other than that, I'm clueless:o

If you say so:devil: :blah:

I have part of your answer but we have to do a bit of math to figure out the complete answer....

Stock tie rod is approximately 12" in length from end to end.

Burgard +1 tie rod is (according to the one I have here) appoximately 13 3/16" long from end to end.

So given those two measurements i'd like to assume a Burguard +3 tie rod is about 15" long give or take a few 1/16ths.

Hope this helps!:D

That helps alot. My tierods measure about 15 3/16" - 15 1/4", so those are correct then. Would it make a difference with the stem I have? I wouldn't think so, because I've been using my Burgard stem with my other a-arms too? Did they look like they where hooked up correctly from the pictures?
