i rencently removed my stock praking brake setup and installed an blockoff plate and while i was at it I installed new brake pads in the rear. Only problem is that the caliper bleeds fine but does nto build pressure and does not work. I cant figure it out for the life of me. caliper shot? Has fresh fluid and all!

Yeah, it could be the master cylinder. An easy rebuild if you have some 90* snap ring pliers.

first try and bleed the banjo at the master cylinder. afterwards bleed the brakes at the caliper.

How do you bleed the banjo bolts?

How do you bleed the banjo bolts?

you apply the brake peddal till you have pressure. then, while holding it down, you crack the banjo bolt just loose enough for you to see the air bubbles bleed out. before you run out of pressure, snug the line back up so you dont suck in more air. reapeat it and once straight fluid starts bleeding through you have bled the air out from the banjo bolt. then you can move down to the caliper and do the same thing with the bleeder valve.

Banjo bolt is that the 1?

Where you press the pedal than it pushes up into that Thing, is that a Banjo bolt on top of it?

Or is that the master cylindeR? The master cylinder is in the caliper itself sortive?

banjo bolt is the bolt that connects your brake line to the top of your master cylinder. your master cylinder is the cast looking part where the peddal pushes the connecting rod into.

I haven't had the need to bleed the banjo bolt, even after installing new SS lines and banjo bolt switches...

when you put the e brake block off on did you notice any fluid under where the e-brake assebly is mounted to? There is a seal on the piston pin. I have seen corrosion build up inside the master cylinder before and if you push the lever all the way down out of the normal travel then the corrosion can damage the seals inside the MC. Or you have a bad seal inside your caliper, its a toss up.
