well im a fraud....yep as much time as ive spent bashing yamaha on this site, today when my mom pulled out the baby pics apparently around 20 yrs. ago when i was like 2-4 (around the mid 80's) i stumbled on a picture of me on a small 50 looking mini just sitting there, then i got an apology from my mom for trying to start me on a yami. (nah just kidding:D), but seriously i am just a little interested in what exactly this was, the pics more focused on mini me but heres all i saw it was red with a factory lookin blue streak on the tank and had a 300ex lookin headlight and behind the headlight was handlebars that was in a V shape coming out of the top of them.

Sounds like the YFM100 MOTO4 Champ. Iv'e got one sounds just like you describe. They made an 80cc version also but that one didn't have a headlight.
