300ex oil cooler

hey i bought a summit racing oil cooler for my 300ex a while back and i want to install it and i cant find anything in a search on how to do it so i was wondering if anyone could post some pics and a detailed explaniation on how to install this thanks

The easiest way is to tap into the oil line that goes from clutch cover to the head or rocker cover.just run a line from the cooler to either side of the oil line after you cut it,use some snug line and 2 hose clamps on each connection so it doesnt leak,do a search its easy.Mine is a tranny cooler for a light duty truck,about $23 from a parts store:)

so all i have to do is cut a piece of the little tube that goes from the crank to the head out and put 1 oil line in each side?? some pics of this would be nice thanks

yup, cut the copper line attach the rubber hose on each end with hose clamps,,

i will post pics tomorrow for ya..

im thinking about doin this. would this tranny cooler work fine.

yea that one would work.. but i would look for somethin a little more narrow,,, most people use one thats only as wide as the vertical frame rails behind the bumper
