Depends what kind of a 440 your looking at. Just an 11:1 440 Piston, cam, and the slip on will probably net you anywhere around 35 HP. A 13:1 440 with porting, bigger valves, top of the line cam, carb, and the full e-series pipe will be just under 50. When you start going to the extremes of the 440 kits, you canget 55-56 hp. I can tell you, I have an "Extreme of the 440 kit" and it runs, faster than alot, but it also took me about 5500 dollars to get it right...

Damn just hearing that makes me cringe, and I know some have even more pumped in these things.

I am currently going for an other $500.00+ approx and just trying to avoid spending the 5 grand :)

When does this beating end? must we call dyfuss and cry quad rider abuse?:huh :D

I think it ends when you are out of money!
Mine with the stock carb and FMF pipe along with some porting and WB track cam was running around the 36 to 36 hp range. Sorry I don't remember the torque numbers. That was with the low compression piston. Just guessing with the FCR and Power bong and T-4, I am running 38-40? That is guessing I have not dyno it since.
With the stroker on the way I am hoping for 45-50 range. :macho
