putting 400ex front shocks on a 250x

what do you have to do to install the 400ex shocks on a 250x? do you need to buy a relocater or can you just put them on?

Not sure about the 250X, but I have 400ex shocks on my 2000 300ex. I had to buy a relocator. Havent tested it out yet (my quad has been apart for years), but it's being put together at my work, so hopefully within the next couple of weeks I'll be able to take it for a spin.
