One of my friends has this Elvis Presley record (thats alright, by sun records) that is signed by ELVIS himself along with two others who helped him on the album, Scotty and Bill. The record is broke in three different places. I was wondering if anyone that had experience with old memorabilia might know how much its worth?

sorry for the quality, cell phone pic

Bring it to an appraiser or to a museum/gallery and let them take a look at it. They'll give you suggestions as to where you can bring it to get it repaired . They can actually fix the record without it losing any value. Once that's done , get it appraised again and do what you like with it. Collectors and museums will buy it up in no time.

My uncle is a huge Elvis fan ... I mean he's got more Elvis stuff than some serious collectors. When he retired a couple years ago , his mother-in-law gave him a handkerchief that she got at a concert when Elvis threw it into the crowd . It's in a frame along with numerous signed Elvis pictures from that day and records . Worth quite a few $$ !!!

a lot of colectible stuff degrades in value if you have it repaired. i would take it to an apraser as is and ask him what he thought about having it repaired or not. we do some different collectibles and damaged things still bring good value but if an item is found to be repaired its value drops to zero or close to it.

WEll this is just my honest opinion........The signature looks kinda small and the album itself has signifiant damage. You could probaly sell this item for around 1000. but the only person that would most likely purchase would be a die hard collector. Is there anyway that you can get a more clearer picture of the signature....not really sure about this one!!

I really think it is a fake look at the P Elvis did not make them with a straight line ! Here is a couple of examples .
