if its a legitly purchased phone, then your provider will do it.

I am 99% sure that the provider will not switch it for you....i dunno why cell companies do it but you arent supposed to be able to switch them...a friend of mine tried that went to both cingular and tmobile to try and get the phone unlocked neither place would do it
