i need help jetting my bike: trx250ex


upgrades:
-hmf full system
-uni airfilter

elevation:
-1000-1200 feet above sea level

symptoms:
-blue header
-back firing on decel

i have the dynojet jet kit in and my main 96.should i bump it up to a 98 or 102 or bigger?

Given the symptoms, try richening up the idle circuit. One size richer pilot jet might fix ya up.

k, i was told not to make the pilot bigger unless i have extreme motorwork done.they said i should make the main bigger and adjust the air mixture screw, but idk what size i should use or how to adjust the micture screw

if your bike runs fine from 3/4 to wide open, its not your main jet..

as you know popping on decel means your lean on your pilot circuit, so try backing out your air mixture screw which should be located under the part of the carb that goes into the engine, i would start by backing it out 3/4 turn
