so, i just recently started building my 2nd 250r in 2 years. i just figured i'd post my progress though the build here so i could see what all of you 250r owners think.

mods:
-'86 250r frame with modified rear engine bracket
-450r rear swingarm PC'd orange
-400ex durablue +4 adj axle
-400ex rear brake assy including master cylinder
-Bills pipe and silencer
-Herrmann racing bearing carrier
-Houser +3 LT a-arms
-Elka quad rate piggy back LT shocks
-265 long rod motor
-V force reeds
-Keihin 38mm carb
-ESR airbox eliminator kit
-complete 400ex front brake system w/ hubs and spindles
-custom made wiring harness
-QT carbon fiber radiator scoops
-Fluidyne oversize aluminum radiator
-banshee rear shock
-Tag T2 bars w/ oversized raised bar clamp

much more on the way including duncan bumper, grab bar, skid plate, cylinder head, seat, tank cover and hood scoop.

it currently squats the rear end b/c the custom shock linkage is not done, so the shock is just bolted into the swinger for now.

looks good! everything is put together nice and looks like its supposed to be there even though the stuff is from different quads. you'll be able to make a 90 degree turn at about 200 mph with that wide front end! are those 3-2 or 4-1 offset rims? maybe it isnt that wide and just looks like it to me? it actually sits perfectly 50" wide in both the front and rear. just at legal width for MX.
