Nerf Bars

What is the difference between the 1986-1987 nerf bars and the 1988-1989 nerf bars? Can I modify 86-87's to fit my 89?

the 86-87's bolt up completely different than the 88-89's. you will destroy the trying to get them to work. best bet is to sell them and get the right ones.

i dont think they make them for the 250r.

if you want nerfs with heel gaurds, buy a set of AC pro peg nerfs w/ heel gaurds for a predator. they can be modified rather easily to fit the '86-'87 250r's

well, i had a set on my old 250r. i wish i hadn't sold them, or i'd put 'em on the 250r i'm building now.

it takes some slight bending, and drilling. i can't remember everything i had to do as it was a little over 2 years ago. its not too difficult though, and they worked and looked great.
