EFI trouble

We've been trying to figure out whats wrong with a LTR450. It's a 2006 and doesn't have much ride time at all on it. It ran great and started easy. All of the sudden on Wed. night it started really hard and when it did start it was revving up and down by its self. It's almost as if somebody is sitting there pumping the throttle the whole time. Do you have any suggestions on what to check? Thanks

Sounds like the EFI controller is jacked. I dont know how to test one but the power commader is good and so are the ones yoshimura offers. Make sure your idle is correct.

Make sure all your intake boots are snug!

I would check the intake fittings like Al Elks said. Also did it have any mods done to it or did you add any mods to it that day? Does the red FI light blink at all other than initial turning on? Just curious.

lol I hate when that happens. These guys on here are great when people have issues. Your quad is something you have to become almos intimate with and you have to know it from head to toe. I suppose you already know this if you race. Thanks guys for all of the free tech help for this guy. What a great community we have!

hey i flipped my ltr sunday an wen i tried to start it up an it wouldnt start but wen i turned the key off an than i turned it back on but now it started back firing here an there
