88 Honda same as 90

I was wondering if the 1988 Honda Fourtrax Foreman 300FW would be very similar in structure to a 1990 Honda Fourtrax Foreman 300FW. I need a winch for my ATV and they only make the winch mounting plate for models 1990 and up. If they are very similar I will get the mounting plate for the 1990 and put it on my 1988 Honda Fourtrax Foreman 300FW.

they did not make a Fourtrax Foreman 300FW

they did make a honda Foreman 350FW
but not a 300cc one
but they did make a Fourtrax 300 4x4 and a 2x4 but not foreman 300
so what is your and photos of your bike mine help
