harlen can have his 2 seconds of fun, i have his new Razor for the weekend. i wonder how bad I can BURN him :devil: oops...oopss...tree!! rock!!! lol i hope he got the extended warranty:devil:

i did photography as a profession for many years, weddings, events etc. igot so burned out dealing with film, slides and editors that i sold most of my stiff and went back to just doing it as a hobby. now that im almost doing just pc work (my day job is getting close to being gone i hope) i decided to start picking back up the photography as digital is SOOO much easier to do then 35mm or medium format. (not the photography, but editing, filing and getting work to editors and clients etc) right now i almost have ZERO time, i work almost 7 days a week, 18 hours a day, sometimes around the clock. once the day job goes away i will be ready for full time pc work in season and photography during the spring and summer (weddings pay nicely these days...lol)

i dont have pics of all my gear, but this is what goes with me as far as camera bodies and lenses.

Nice equipment ya got there . I wish I had the skills for photography , it's something I'd like to do , but I guess that's something you learn with time. Atleast once the day job is done with , you'll have something to fall into and keep you going ... plus it seems like it's something you really enjoy doing . I hear ya about weddings paying good . A few of my friends got married this past February , it cost them almost $5000 for their wedding photos. Luckily for me , when Mel and I get married ( oh no not that word !!! ) my mom's step brother will be doing the pictures. Since guys are throwing out ideas of pictures to take , I think a picture of a strawberry would look awesome . Lots of detail in a stawberry ... seeds , little hairs, color , and so on.

Was that a honey bee? Haven't seen one around here in quite a long time. I hear there is some type of epidemic that's wiping them out. Gets in their brains and kills them. Major problem for all of us as they do the majority of pollenating. Bad for farmers. I hear people are now raising honey bees to try and solve the situation.
