i kno there has been a lot of posts liek this but it has been a while so post all your wheelie pix i dont have any good ones cuz i lost the camera from the last ride... oh well i will get them sooner or later until then let me see yours

i like the wheelies were you can let off the gas and it just stays in the same spot for a couple seconds, grab bar inches from the ground. you slipping off the seat and your heart is pounding. like this pic.

KC : that pic is from SHERIDAN but most likely not the SHERITON you are thinking of in Mahwah . I usually ride at Tower city in PA or in the Meadowlands in Rutherford NJ . Where does your cousin live in jersey ??

Thanks..:0 its a pretty steep one too, i think its about a 300 footer if i remeber right,I rode a rail on it,and man was it a blast!! I know..me too, I miss the big dunes:(

Nj400EX- My cousin lives in Ringwood, we do lots of illegal reservoir riding, and Ice riding on GreenWood lake this winter hopefully

Im gonna try and make it to the ride, it doesnt look too good though

kc, you should come with me and my buddy with a 250r, to a lake in monroe, its legal! i dont no the name of the lake, but there have huge waterski jumps and stuff, right by RT. 208

4Punksdad~~~I know I do.:o Im a little head shy when it comes to cameras,and I dont ride as good as you all do, but I am getting better,been praticing the jumps,maybe ill have a few worth posting one of these days:) And yes, they do need to learn how to use the cam,I get stuck taking ALL the pics:( Maybe ill take a few next time w/ me draggin,now that I can do!;)

I know the feeling........I have way more pics of my buddies than I do of myself. Most times when I hand them the camera..........they botch up the pics anyway :o

Jabber.........I know its hard to understand but let me try to explain. A "wheelie" is when you ride your machine on the back wheels only. Therefore, they are only looking for a photo of your front wheels in the air. Nobody cares what the back wheels are doing.

anyway, here is a picture of my front wheels (shown only for informational purposes) taken by another one of my buddies who inspires to be a professional photographer one day :o

Ahhh, I see. As long as the front wheels are in the air, and the back wheels are touching the ground... So the longest wheelie I ever did was about 200 miles. I had to stand the bike up (with it's front wheels in the air) in the back of the truck to haul it to the beach!

How do you ride a wheelie...I"m guessing I'll try it tonight...should I just put it in 2nd gear,,crack the throttle wide open the let out the clutch real fast..:eek: :huh Or will this make me do a back flip??:confused:
