I have noticed in a few of the post something about longer belts . Why do you need them & what does it do for performance?

longer belts increase the travel on the pulleys and this will give you more ratio combinations, but belt width is just as crucial . 90cc atv's normally have longer belts because they have more power to utilize the greater ratio.

My boys 50 has this belt. It's a Bando VS with the numbers 780-165-30. Can this be upgraded?

HOW ABOUT THE 70 ANY GAINS BY GOING TO THE 788 ON THEMI HAVEN'T TRIED THIS YET

With a performance variator or a modified stock variator the 788 belt should provide a nice gain for the 70cc quads...

It does for us....

The 788 belt is wider....as well....

Isnt the 788 a 17 instead of a 16.5 ? If so it will help out with top end nicely.
