crf450 timing chain swap

Has anyone done this? Is there anything specific that needs to accompany this change? Is just the standard crf450 timing chain that you use?

I have one in mine i was told to get one for a 2002 CRF 450r but i don't see the difference in the years the part numbers are the same but i did go and get a CRF 450r timing chain for a 2002.I can not tell you any more than that i just got my motor done and I'm in the process of redoing it from the ground up.but yeah all you'll need is just the chain nothing else.You probably already know this but here's the part #14401-MEB-671 its cheapest at Service Honda.

now would be a great time to change your cam chain tensioner as well.

as far as specifics, you need to take out the clutch basket, a few gears and washers, the valve cover and side cover(obviously) and your there.
