on my swingarm where the pivot bearings go it is all ate up and ruff wehere i rode w/ bad bearings, is there n e way this could be fixed

$45 or so wait you talking swingarm rear bearings or the pivot bearings in the swingarm were the swingarm bolt goes through?

If you get the bearing races out and the swing arm is chewed up, go ahead and be looking for another swingarm. If you cant get the races out, have fun, I feel your pain. No amount of chiselling got it out for me. Note that my 400 has a 450 swingarm. The swingarm got chewed up in the exact spots you're talking about.

im talking about pivot, yea i cant get the races out and it is chewed up all around

I took a reamer to mine trying to get the races out and it just didn't happen. the races chewed up the swing arm too much and then it must have gotten hot because when i was trying to ream them out on a mill, i literally couldn't tell a difference between the race and the swingarm. I now have an 05 450 swing arm on my 400.

what all do u have to change to put the 450r swingarm on there

Your skid plate wont bolt up, the chain slider on the swingarm itself isn't the same, and the way the brake line attaches is different. No big deal though, its easy to figure out another way for the brake line, I did. Other than that, everything else is the EXACT same. Length, posistion of the rear shock mount, all the way up to the pivot is the same.
