Yeah i build them and sell them, right now im working on one and one is sitting waiting for its turn. The one im working on is a 1993 Honda rider with 11hp, im prolly getting new pullys for it this weekend so it will go about 40, next in line i have a 1966 Cub Cadet.

I can get pics if anyones interested.

Pics would be great. I think mower racing would be a blast. I have thought about this for a while since my riding mower is about ready to be retired from duty. Still runs great but the cutting deck is coming apart. Not sure if it can be done with a hydrostatic trans though...any thoughts?

Cool. Let me know what you find out on the hydro trans. It would be awkard to drive though since the speed is controlled by the "stick" on the right rear fender. It would be fun to try though.

Probably not going to start on the hydro project for a while, i want to get my honda done and ready for some poker runs :p both run great and need little work, all the honda needs is pully's, seat, and custom exhaust, the cub needs float bowl screw (starts to flood after about 15mins of running) , paint, exhaust, and what ever you do to a hydrolic trans to make it go faster:confused:

But heres where i am as of now...

I have wanted to do it for a while, just can't find a decent priced mower. All I find are ones that people want like a grand for.

Cool video. For some reason I had to laugh at the guy doing doughnuts about halfway through the vid.

DVXracer- That little white one looks like it would be a handful at 40mph.lol Looks like an inexpensive way to go racing though. Keep us updated on how it turns out.

in dirtwheels back in 2001 they had a picture of a dude with a lawnmower with a banshee engine in it and drag pipes coming out the side... it was ridiculously fast...

Man, thats nothing. Here in Sheridan Illinois we have poker runs every August 22nd, theres a lawnmower of ever kind you can think of, some with articulation, tandom axles, snowmobile engines, twin lawnmower engines, and last year there was a guy with a 454 Big Block in his John Deere, it was insane !!! :eek2:
