I was doing some investigation for flat track tire prices and found that there is a hoosier tire distributor that offers flat track tires cheaper than Nacs or Dennis kirk. The 57/6/10 front tire is $81.11, and the 59/10/9 is $86.52, and the 59/10/10 is $86.52. Nacs is selling them for 95.00 front and rear both. I just saw this and figured i'd pass it along. Their phone number is 574-936-8344, or you can go to www.hoosiertire.com and look under distributors to find Hoosier Tire Midwest.

Is the 57 mean the circumfrence of the tire. How come they dont use like 18/10/9 instead or 57/10/9?

The 57 is the circumference. Which is 18" so the front would be a 18/6/10. The rear is 18.5". They go by circumference due to all the other kinds of racing that they handle circumference is more important to those racers since they use it to set stagger and whatnot.

I wish they would do it this way more often. It's the same as rollout, which is commonly used with paddle tires since there is so much variation with different tires. I know a guy with Holeshot's and he says one of his tires is 1" shorter than the other.
