Got my 440ex today!!

I have been waiting all week and finally i got it. Its got, 440ex kit, hotcam stage 2, 13:1 compression, bored and polished, alumium air box, k&n filter with sleeve, aftermarket oil tank, hole shots on front and back i beleive, nerf bars, lonestar +1 axle, +1 a-arms, aftermarket handle bars, grips, metel throttle, new carb, and no telling what. It can out run a modifide 450r ... Raced my friend on the drag strip and on our rode. Its mostly mx ready.. =) Here is a picture:

It has a Noleen HVO.. never seen one before now but there good. My 440ex sounds like a yfz450 or a 450r lol.

Not to be picky but isn't it ported and polished. Anyway, that is a nice looking 400. I am a little biased toward black fenders.

I didnt buy any of it, i just traded a fourwheeler of mine for it.. and yea the head is ported and polished.. so i dunno what the exhaust cost but its awesome..

What size tires do you have on the rear? They seem really narrow in the pictures.

I was just wondering what size they were and if they hook up good I still have stock on mine and was wondering if I should stay with the stock size tires of go smaller (width) to save weight.

O there kenda and they hoot up great. The 440 pulls the front tires of the ground coming out of the turn on my track. Its freaking crazy, and i got a cooling head on my bike or something that keeps the piston and stuff cool. But im going to have to change the head gasket soon, its gotten a little worn and is spitting oil out.

i didnt even kno they made a 13:1 piston for the 400ex, custom or is it ross racing or somethin? i thought the highest was 12.5:1 by JE... wiseco make the 13:1?

Good stuff! Looks well built from the pics. I just got a 2000 440EX a few weeks back for my first quad. It's damn close to the mods you have and it's too much for my experience level. 1-2 are useless and I have to ease into 3rd to keep the tires down or tires planted. It'll either spin or pick up the front.
