ty. its a company bus. we have 8 of them and we actually do carry musicians around. my grandma owns the company and wanted us to trave in style out there in glamis.

i used to compress my street bikes down like that and never had a problem, also did that with my 50's i wouldnt worry about it. unless you leave it strapped down for a long period of time, like a week or so.

it is actually worse in more then one way to strap them down that hard. it is doing no extra good. not only is it putting the most amount of pressure on the shocks cause they are completely bottomed out, but the tire is pushing as hard against the trailer as possible. if the tire gets pushed out to the side at all it will easily slide out cause of the pressure on the bike from the straps. i hope that made sense cause it didn't when i was typng it. haha.

I actually have a special wheel chock for the front tire. If you look a little closer at the picture you'll see what I'm explaining. The wheel will not jump out. However, both of you make a valid point about compressing the front forks too much. It's not bottomed out but, is compressed considerably. I will change how I strap it down. Thanks ;)
