I don't think you can beat the hookup of the i-razr. It just causes you to change your cornering habits a little. Personally I will never own another tire.

just plain razrs will work great too. i climbed this hill on almost completely bald razrs and its a pretty loamy hill.

I got ITP XRC and they're great.. I like ITP cause the split nob give you a little extra grip.. I can climp alot of hill in 1st gear with very little slip..

its mostly personal opinion on tires.... most will get the job done..

I love my kenda klaws.

Depends where you live. Sand or Dirt. Sand go with some Razrs I know of.

I think the most adaptable tires are the Kenda Klaws. I've noticed I can climb in either hard packed or loose dirt without much of a problem. I didn't like the Holeshots I had in the loose stuff, they just didn't hook up very well. Just my $.02.

I live in florida which is a mix or riding the dunes and riding some clay to dirt. Razrs seem the best to me. The stock tires on the 400ex will grap but not nearly as good as razrs

I had Holeshot XC front and rear. Wore the rear down, but they were excellent tires. They did a lot better on hard pack than my iRazrs. I razrs are great but they just aren't meant for hard pack. Regular Razrs do great, they feel more consistent grip than razr 2s. Razrs 2s aren't bad either. They ITP GNCC Holeshots, they new ones, have been working well for a couple of my friends too. That'll be my 3 cents worth.;)

I havnent had problems with my razr's. The only riding I do is in the woods on muddy trails.

I've got Kenda Klaw XCR/XCF tires on my 400EX. Excellent traction and 6 ply rating on rear tires is a plus as well. The rear tire tread pattern is reversable so you can set the tires up to best suit the terrain you are riding on no matter if it's soft, intermediate, or hard. I got all 4 tires for less than $195 shipped to my door!

i h8 razr2's/ 20"s are like 24" tires. they r str8 mud tires in my opinion. i-razrs are a offroad /race tire. i burnt out waaaaaay to manhy clutches cuz of razr2's. i will never use n e othe5r tire over i-razr.

Actually all 4 Kenda XC Klaw tires were $180.00 shipped. I double check the price on the website. It does vary slightly depending on what size tires you want but shipping is FREE!

Razr2 or HD would be best for your described riding conditions.
