Hey,

I need some new front tires and i was thinking about getting the massix razr 2's. They are about 75 bucks each so I was just wondering if they are worth. Is there a tire cheaper but just as good or better than the maxxis?

Razr2's will hold up great. I run regular Razr's in my fronts though and i've got no complaints with them.

i have holeshot hd's on my ex.i like them alot.however, they are very heavy and although theyre an awesome tire....i think i will do the razrs next time.they havent held up too bad.i dunno exactly how much time i have on them but i got them back in the beginning of 06 and theyre about 50% now.id opt for the razrs.if nothing else...maybe just to shave a few pounds.

Love my plain Razr's. Hold up great even with all the road riding I do.

Razr2's are the only way to go on the front. They are the best steering tire I've ever owned. When you buy rears I would recommend standard razrs though. The 2's on the rear offer monster traction, but I feel they offer too much traction and are on the heavy side. :(

Yes that was directed towards you. Do you notice much of a difference with the air scoops?

they help a little when moving

Also what kind of suspension do you have?

the fronts are YZF450R shocks. on stock a-arms. The quad is set up for trail so the only thing I did to widen it was put the offset rims.

yeah I do mostly trail riding myself.
