i havent had experience with the dmc either, but it seems like the dmcs just extra money and all of the horsepower numbers are generally the same with the big name pipes, i'd say go with the e-series, but i've got a lrd and its pretty sweet, i'd recommend that but get whatever you want, the only thing you need to worry about is how easy everything mounts up

I am not going to argue points or any thing but with my e-series slip on and ground head pipe welds I beat my buddy with the DMC other than the pipe the bikes where the same. You will notice that I am selling my e-series but that is just because I want a full syst to go with 416 kit this winter.
