JPMX engine skids

I was flipping through ATV sport and saw a JPMX ad and it said they make full engine skids for $60. Whats the deal?

I've bought one of them before.
it's just a plate of stainless steel cut to fit.
it's cheap and it does the job.
just be careful, it's got sharp edges and will cut you bad!
