Not quite sure where to ask this so here goes

I just picked up an easy pull clutch lever with hotstart. The seller says it works with the stock cable, I cant seem to get it hooked up correctly to work and return itself to the off position as it does when in the stock hot start lever.


I dont see a place for a return spring to be placed and I didn't touch where ti connects to the carb. Was able to d/c it pretty easily so I dont think I lost or broke anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, or any ideas to what I may have wrong. I'll try to get a pic later this afternoon. [camera is charging]

I haven't found a clutch lever with hotstart that worked with the stock hotstart cable... most people get the baldwin cable, and I believe another company makes one now, might be asv, but dont hold me to that.

This is the one I bought. I did contact him before and was told it does work with stock cable.

I'm sure i'll figure it out sooner or later, or i'll buy a cable if need be. :(
