New Yamaha!

The new dirtwheels says that yamaha may be working on a new quad. They said that the engine would be a 450 i think and they also said that they are debating right now whether it would have reverse or not. The article also said it should be exceptionally fast. This sounds pretty awesome and hopefully yamaha would put a reverse gear on the beast.

first off-
yamaha just put money into the raptor, yz450f, and thier a few new bikes too. they prop won't be pushin a new quad for a few years.

2nd-dirtwheels just wants you to tune into thier next mag. so they make money. they can say what they want, that's the freedom of the press. doesn't mean a thing they say is true though...

there was rock hard evidence of the predator and z400 all over the internet a month before it was printed in any magazine. If any company is going to have something new you will definately see a pic and article on the internet a month before its in any mag. Another example is the new Suzuki 250, saw it on the internet a month ago and its just now in the magazines. Just my opinion:)

The magazines are too slow to realize how much better a Cannondale is than a z400 so i doubt they are right about this one.

It's just a copy of a 400EX frame, suspension, probably other things, Craptor plastic(modified alittle to say it's "theirs"), with a DRZ400 motor in there.

In my opinion i think the raptor looks like a 400 from the front. Well i think it does in the pic DW has beside the article on the new 400.

Yeah you know it didnt take long for suzuki to make the Z...but i heard they did change the motor around a little...in my opinion its just another great quad...the first thing i would do though is change to a 400ex style swing arm

Yeah the magazines are slow, What about the new kfx700 twin. We all knew about it a month or two.

They also said that the new yamaha will have long travel.

Maybe hondas waiting for yamaha to come out with a compentition level quad.

yeah i wish honda would hurry up and release a new HP quad. I'm thinking about getting a 400ex and quit waiting for a new quad to come out.

dirtwheels says alot of things, i almost sorta hoped to believe them when they did the april fools issue on honda coming out with a 750ex tripple with 105hp stock, BULL *****, then they went on about how you could buy a supercharged version, i mean common now, a 750 tripple quad, honda would be the last company to make a jump like that, it would be really nice but way out of proportion, i think they should make a super quad like that but with a crotch rocket motor and long travel susp and on order only and they could even throw in a form for any buyer to sign about not being responsible of any injuries of rider and stuff so they could stop being so paranoid and make something sweet that skilled riders can buy to race or dune with or what not, not make tons of production models so that unskilled riders buy and die on, they just need to get out of the p*ssy mode and start being top dog for a while, not the under dog with "good handling" and "reliability"

WE NEED SOMETHING FOR THOSE SKILLED POWER HUNGRY RIDERS DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
