Trouble with rear brakes

Alright how do you depress the rear brake calipers cylinder?:confused: I can't fit the new pads on it and that is why.

im assuming the piston is out? if so i just compress it in by hand until flush with the caliper housing, or use an old pad and compress with a pair of channel locks then slap the pads in and mount the caliper

But it won't compress. It shouldn't be broken. It is comletely outside of the housing. What should I do. It is near brand new.:confused: I screwed up I meant to say it was the calipers piston. How can I compress it?:confused:
