Does anyone have an evo or have a freind that has one? How are they, are they reliable and problems with certian years? Thanks Mike

i drove alongside one for a few minutes on the highway today....had an exhaust and man it sounded awsome. after traffic opened up, the dude got on it hard and HOLY **** man, left me in the dust like i was standing still. put a huge smile on my face.


i dont know about reliability, but i know they are sick cars.

My buddys got one. Prob the ONLY import i would ever drive. ****s fast cuz of AWD. Im not sure on reliability and all that jazz. I just know there fast, and insurance his high. VERY high

i was on the highway last night and seen a new one, a new gto, and one of those like srt8 or something. im not sure what all the cars had done to them but the gto and evo kinda raced but there was alot of traffic so they couldnt really do much. seemed to keep up pretty good though with the gto until they had to let off. my cousin passed all of them but then again he has 560rwhp. not sure what happened after all that cause they never really caught back up to play around again but when we were getting off that exit ramp that gto came screaming by us. that thing was hauling.

I have driven 2.They are badass great handling and alot of power.I dont know about the reliability.

They are def great cars. very responsive and nimble. It will go where you want it and when you want it to. Makes a great road race or drag car. As far as reliability i have never heard of anything bad about them. I have quite a few friends with them. For about 2g or less you can have a 350whp car easy. But even with just an exhaust system and ecu flash you gotta a pretty quick ride. AMS is where its at for tunning EVOs. They are the masters at making sick HP cars. I have personally seen a 800whp evo at englishtown tuned by AMS. seein an EVO on 4 slicks is no joke lol.

there kick arse cars. my bros friend has a 06 6speed gto and that thing hauls. a girl my other bro works with has an srt4 and they are ok cars i wouldnt want one. u can make some madd hp with a evo

two of my friends have an STI and evo. I have only driven the Sti and its really quick. Its quiet though so it doesn't feel like your going fast until you look down at the speedo.

The kid with the Sti said the evo hits harder though. Usually the Evo will be faster to 60mph because the sti's 2nd gear ends at 57-58.

As far as reliablilty goes, I havent heard of anyone having a major problem with either. With just an intake, exhaust, and ecu reflash both cars are near 350 to the wheels. can't go wrong with either

Both evo and sti are great. Very competitive brands I would say sti is more reliable but if I had to pick i would take an evo. Just my 2 cents
