The stock front sprocket is a 13T on the 06/07 bikes. On the 04/05s it is a 14T. I ran the 14T on my 06 for a while and really liked it for long runs, especially on the street, but if you are looking for all topend, there are 15Ts also. I am not sure of anything larger, but I would suspect that bottom end would really suffer from anything more on a stock engine. And no, you wouldn't have to do anything to the rear sprocket or chain if they are in OK condition, just slap it on, adjust the chain, and go.

i have a brand new 36 JT rear. Bought it for my 300 and never putit on. It will fit tho. That would be the same as switching to the 15 front.

and would i have to mess with the jets or just pop in the sprocket and go?

Just pop on the sprocket and go. The only time you will need to re-jet is for engine mods such as a pipe or filter (etc.).

Nice bike/s BTW. The 07 blk/red color scheme is awesome.

The stock is a 14 tooth, which is pretty tall. They make a 15 tooth for it, though, if you want more top-end...but I would stick with stock gearing.

try site sponsors first for the hrc kit, if none have it try ebay.

with a few tools and instruction book you can do it in an evening pretty easy

your going to swear someone put your quad on roids

Ebay always has great deals, and sometimes the dealership does also.
They are extremely easy to install with a few tools, and make a huge increase in power.

All I have done to my 06 is the HRC kit, and it runs awesome compared to nearly everything similar out there, especially for the money. It surprises me every time I line up next to another bike.

I have the same bike - DO the kit. The dealer put mine on. $300 plus labor.
The bike flies - heres my son on mine
I have an 04 w/ a pipe & there the same - the kits cheaper & quieter.http://file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/SUNRISE/My%20Documents/My%20Pictures/Fathers%20Day%20150%20tj%20resize20.JPG
